Major Saver Sales - Jan. 9-22

The Harrisonville Public School Foundation is once again offering Major Saver cards for sale through students in grades K-5.  Students will receive the sales packets on Thursday, January 9 and will sell the $15 Buy One, Get One Free offer cards until Wednesday, January 22nd.  Proceeds from the sales of the discount cards directly support the participating schools and the activities of the Harrisonville Public School Foundation.  Last year, the Foundation and participating schools raised more than $14,000 through the sale of Major Saver cards.

The 2020 participating businesses include: Paradise Park, Price Chopper, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kurzweil’s, Casey’s, Apple Barrel (in Sapp Brothers), Mazzio’s, The Garage, Brewbakers, Houlihan’s, Dunkin’ Donuts (in Sapp Brothers), Sonic, Captain D’s, Dairy Queen, Forged by Fire, Aaron’s Family Fun Center, El Maguey, Buffalo Wild Wings, Brick House Coffee, and Daylight Donuts.

Major Saver cards can also be purchased online at www.majorsaver.com.  Customers may purchase Major Saver cards from any participating communities and the sale will be credited to Harrisonville Schools and to the student that the buyer is supporting.  All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer.

Another option this year is the Major Saver app which can be downloaded on Android or iOS devices.  Once you download the app, you can purchase a Major Saver card for any community and it will be available right on your phone.  The sale can also be designated to any student in our schools.

Cards are also available for purchase at the District Administration office, 503 S. Lexington from 7:30-4 p.m. daily through January 22nd

Major Saver cards make great gifts for employees, new customers, and current clients.  For more information, contact the Harrisonville Public School Foundation at 380-2727, ext. 1224.

The proceeds from the card sales are split between the participating schools and the Harrisonville Public School Foundation.  The Foundation will use its portion to fund programming including teacher and district grants, the Excellence in Academics program, Advanced Degree Teacher Reimbursement, and student scholarships.  The elementary schools have used the funding for technology, playground equipment, books, and more.
