Monthly Award Winners

February

Harrisonville Elementary School students were honored for achievement during the month of February on Friday, March. 4.  Students watched the awards assembly video in their classrooms and teachers presented awards.

Two students from each grade are named Wildcats of the Month.  Those honored as Wildcats of the Month for February were Skyler LaPlante, McKinley Marriott, Konner Baker, Amaya Yoshimoto, Paetra Arnold, Bryden Ogletree. The honored students received a certificate and a t-shirt from the Harrisonville Police Department.

The Harrisonville Rotary Club recognizes one student each month who demonstrates service to others.  Third grader Clay Wolf received the Service Above Self award for February.

Two students from each class are recognized for demonstrating the character trait of the month.  The February trait was kindness and those honored were FRONT ROW: Asher Atkin, Ashlynn Riley, Conner Boyd, Colton Hess, and Willow Person; SECOND ROW: Bentley Johnson, McKenna Lewis, Lindon Jomwe, Lyrix Culver, Harmony Wallace, Amora Nims, Ryan Schooler, and Annabelle Demoro; THIRD ROW: Liam Cates, Maverick Schlotzhauer, Emma Rorvig, Ferrell Johnson, Arayah Wray, Ava Gaddis, Adelynn Garrison, Georgie Kauffman, Jesse Franklin, Savanna Carver, and Kaloni Stewart; and BACK ROW: Sophia Schneider, Aubrey Johnson, Shaugh Ford, Abigail Coltrin, Sonni Jackson, Zoe Henderson, Braxton Ingrassia, Zoey Matthews, Avery Saunders, Amelia LePage, and Keira Stewart.

Music teacher Lisa Hern also presented awards to one student per class.  Those HES Music Star Awards were presented to Naomi Coffelt, Noland Davis, Haddie Stephens, Lydia Vaughn, Riley Dunn, Adalynn Calhoun, Karmarie Downey, Savanna Carver, Taylor Vaughn, Alyssa Overcast, Brier Warner, Emma Rorvig, Lana Stephens, Ava Tye, Alayna Hunter, Meredith Blowers, Charlotte Arnold, Eddie Sidwell, Maci Plumb, Meleah Ford, Erikson Allen, and Colin Wolf.

PE coach Lindsey Weikel presented the Sportsmanship Awards.  Two students at each grade were recognized and included Hailey Brown, Lindon Jomwe, Adelynn Garrison, Tanner Sexton, Leylah Johnston, and Drake Dubray.

Students who met monthly reading goals were also recognized.  One hundred and fifty-eight students met their reading goals in February.

December

The honored students received a certificate and a t-shirt from the Harrisonville Police Department.

November

Two students from each grade are named Wildcats of the Month.  Those honored as Wildcats of the Month for October were Lyrix Culver, Hailey Brown, Georgie Kauffman, Henry Marshall, McKenzie Soderstrom, and Noland Davis The honored students received a certificate and a t-shirt from the Harrisonville Police Department.
