Monthly Award Winners

March

Kindergarten students and teachers at the Harrisonville Early Childhood Center were honored for achievement during the month of February on Friday, April 9.  The students' names were read over the intercom and the students came to the office where they were presented a certificate and took a picture which was then used to create a video.  See the awards video on the Harrisonville Early Childhood Center Wildcats Facebook page or on the Harrisonville Schools YouTube page. 

Each month, the Harrisonville Kiwanis Club presents Terrific Citizen awards to students who exemplify the character trait of the month. March’s character trait was empathy and those students named Terrific Citizens include FRONT ROW: Noelle Bevan, Layne Stephens, and Harper Chenoweth; and BACK ROW: Aubrey Lair, Brogen Witherspoon, and Skyler LaPlante.

In addition to the Terrific Citizens, students are also recognized for their work and behavior in music, art, and physical education classes.  For March, Specials teachers Amanda Norman and Kristin Malone recognized the following students in music: FRONT ROW: Jase Ekstrom, Duke Baldwin, and Adelyn Chaney; and BACK ROW: Leah Lake, Carlie Rinker, Aryia Johnson, and Britain Schroeder.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: AGavin Guentert and McKinley Marriott; BACK ROW: Hailey Brown, Nash Berislavich, and Maddox Magoffin; and NOT PICTURED: Alayna Thomas and Abigail Pickering.

March’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW: Colin Wolf, Amora Nims, and Grayson Hillbrandt; and BACK ROW: Ashlynn Riley, Jack O'Connell, Colton Hess, and Adalynn Kanenbly.

The Mathematician of the Month Award is sponsored by Community Bank of Harrisonville.  The honorees for March were FRONT ROW: Cameron Ward, and Benjamin Ledington, and Lily Sharp; and BACK ROW: Zayn Dennis, Remington Larcom, Titan Chastain, and Paislee Grass.

February

In addition to the Terrific Citizens, students are also recognized for their work and behavior in music, art, and physical education classes.  For February, Specials teachers Amanda Norman and Kristin Malone recognized the following students in music: FRONT ROW: Korbyn Huff, Dallas Hall, and Aubrey Lair; and BACK ROW: Connor Hoss, Brady Snider, Hunter Davis, and Miles Cummins.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Alexis Gott, Lee Leiber, and Easton Choate; and BACK ROW: Kayden Brown, Kynslee Brown, David Graeve, and Mac Henderson.

February’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW:  Aliyah Thomas, Wesley Rusk, and Ryan Schooler; and BACK ROW: Emily Bowman, Elio Ramirez, Rylee Quick, and Robby Keim.

November’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW:  Teller Linville, Dallas Allee and and Kynzlee Dunbar; and BACK ROW: Skyler LaPlante, Taylor Walker, and Benton Litchfield.
