Monthly Award Winners

November

Kindergarten students and teachers at the Harrisonville Early Childhood Center were honored for achievement during the month of November on Friday, December 3.  The students' names were read over the intercom and the students came to the office where they were presented a certificate and took a picture which was then used to create a video.  See the awards video on the Harrisonville Early Childhood Center Wildcats Facebook page or on the Harrisonville Schools YouTube page. 

Each month, the Harrisonville Kiwanis Club presents Terrific Citizen awards to students who exemplify the character trait of the month. November’s character trait was honesty and those students named Terrific Citizens include FRONT ROW: Wyatt Butler, Lakyn Dunsmore-Walker, Takoda Byrd, and Waylynn Burnett; and BACK ROW: ECC staff Terrific Citizen Tina Torres, Rylan Hunt, Enzlee Morris, Harper Tye, and Lena Howard.

In addition to the Terrific Citizens, students are also recognized for their work and behavior in music, art, and physical education classes.  For November, Specials teachers Amanda Norman and Kristin Malone recognized the following students in music: FRONT ROW: Isabella Stallings, Gannon Dobnikar, and Keira Newland; and BACK ROW: Ava Plante, Jameson Cardenas, Ellianna Evans, and Dominik Harleman; and NOT PICTURED: Ezra Berg.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Jackson Dunn, Lana Pendleton, and Malachi Bickle; and BACK ROW: Emily Michaels, Charlotte Griffey, Troy Cunningham, and Faith Clifton; and NOT PICTURED:  Wyatt Byrd.

November’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW:Bowe Starforth and Avah McGuire and BACK ROW: Cadie Harris, Lillie Thomas, Stevie Oden, and Brantley West and NOT PICTURED: Edward Freelan and Nyla Milburn.

The Mathematician of the Month Award is sponsored by Community Bank of Harrisonville.  The honorees for November were FRONT ROW: Caleb Vanalst, Keegan Rinehart, and Butch Heinman; and BACK ROW: Raelynn Rodgers, Jagger Stewart, Jayci Pfeiffer, and Storm Taylor; and NOT PICTURED: Maverick Doe.

 


October

October’s character trait was responsibility and those students named Terrific Citizens include FRONT ROW: Bryella Robling, Faith Malone, Xander Dennis, and Kendal Aviles; and BACK ROW: ECC staff Terrific Citizen Jennifer Gunderson, Mary Gentry-Sleyster, Marlee Morris, Abigail Rose, and Raelyn Linder.

In addition to the Terrific Citizens, students are also recognized for their work and behavior in music, art, and physical education classes.  For October, Specials teachers Amanda Norman and Kristin Malone recognized the following students in music: FRONT ROW: Cassidy Ervin, Parker Sharp, Scarlette Oldham, and Alexis Cavender; and BACK ROW: Kaylee Brown, Mckenzie Wright, Titus Tieman, and Christopher Randazzo.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Sydney McKernan, Daphanie Johnson, Gunnar McCubbin, and Knox Trussell; and BACK ROW: Lyla Bruce, Jeremiah Jenkins, Easton Moore, and Aaron Brown.

October’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW: Ayden Stephens, Jackson Cross, Waylon Nutter, and Lola Jones and BACK ROW: Richard Mallatt, Andres Lomeli, Easton Blake, and Weston Blake.

The Mathematician of the Month Award is sponsored by Community Bank of Harrisonville.  The honorees for October were FRONT ROW: Teller Linville, Easton Anderson, Nathalia De La Vega, and Addison Doherty; and BACK ROW: Wyatt Butler, Tanner McDuffy, Barak Warner, and Avery Purtle.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Abel Cass, Erickson Allen, and Kaisen Young; and BACK ROW: Grace Michaels, Jayden Hargrave, Rylan Hunt, and Stella Saunders; and NOT PICTURED: Oliver Holland.
