Monthly Award Winners

November

Kindergarten students and teachers at the Harrisonville Early Childhood Center were honored for achievement during the month of November on Friday, December 4.  The students' names were read over the intercom and the students came to the office where they were presented a certificate and took a picture which was then used to create a video.  See the awards video on the Harrisonville Early Childhood Center Wildcats Facebook page or on the Harrisonville Schools YouTube page. 

Each month, the Harrisonville Kiwanis Club presents Terrific Citizen awards to students who exemplify the character trait of the month. November’s character trait was self control and those students named Terrific Citizens include FRONT ROW: Aria Herndon, Kody Vanover, and Zayn Dennis; and BACK ROW: Layla Hixon, Emily Bowman, and Grayson Hillbrant.

In addition to the Terrific Citizens, students are also recognized for their work and behavior in music, art, and physical education classes.  For November, Specials teachers Amanda Norman and Kristin Malone recognized the following students in music: FRONT ROW: Jackson Brock, Braelyn Roberts, and Brycen Minor; and BACK ROW: Amora Nims, Maleah Ford, Corbin Kagarice, and Malayna McCubbin.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Aryia Johnson, Ryan Schooler and and Bryson Davis; and BACK ROW: Ivy Callaway, Titan Chastain, Daniel Saldana, and Rylee Quick.

November’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW:  Teller Linville, Dallas Allee and and Kynzlee Dunbar; and BACK ROW: Skyler LaPlante, Taylor Walker, and Benton Litchfield.

The Mathematician of the Month Award is sponsored by Community Bank of Harrisonville.  The honorees for November were FRONT ROW: Adelyn Chaney, Leah Lake, and Alayna Thomas; and BACK ROW: Wesley Rusk, Jade Hendren, Kynslee Brown and Aiden Peek.

 

 

October

October’s character trait was responsibility and those students named Terrific Citizens include FRONT ROW: Willow Person and Korbyn Huff; and BACK ROW: Alexis Gott, Raegan Passeau, and Miles Cummins.

In addition to the Terrific Citizens, students are also recognized for their work and behavior in music, art, and physical education classes.  For October, Specials teachers Amanda Norman and Kristin Malone recognized the following students in music: FRONT ROW: MayLea Schliem, Colton Hess,  and Athena Parnell; and BACK ROW: Lily Sharp, Remington Larcom, and Harmony Wallace.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Noelle Bevan, Mayra Gutieerrez-Jones, and Nolan Hartsell; and BACK ROW: Colin Wolf,  Riley Cox -Bisignano, Maggie Love, and Harper Chenoweth.

October’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW:  Benjamin Miller,  McKenna Lewis, and Zayn Dennis; and BACK ROW: Jace Ekstrom, Annabelle Demoro, Paislee Grass, abd Jade Hendren.

The Mathematician of the Month Award is sponsored by Community Bank of Harrisonville.  The honorees for October were FRONT ROW: Layne Stephens, Kayden Brown, Alyson Munoz-Evans, and Benjamin Miller; and BACK ROW: Felicity Gary, Kaisen Young, and Brady Snider.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Jaxson Whelan and Kasey Kanoy; and BACK ROW: Easton Darby, JoJo Klinger, and Cora Hawkins.

September’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW: Kaycen Bales and Gavin Guentert; and BACK ROW: Austin Miller, Maddox Magoffin, and Janie Stallcup.
