Monthly Award Winners

April

 
Kindergarten students and teachers at the Harrisonville Early Childhood Center were honored for achievement during the month of April. The students' names were read over the intercom and the students came to the office where they were presented a certificate and took a picture which was then used to create a video. Each month, the Harrisonville Kiwanis Club presents Terrific Citizen awards to students who exemplify the character trait of the month. April’s character trait was forgiveness and those students named Terrific Citizens include FRONT ROW: Troy Cunningham, Jagger Stewart, Gracie Doll, and Easton Moore; and BACK ROW: Staff Super Citizen Lauren Spengler, Scarlette Oldham, Kayson Dinwiddie, Addison Doherty, and Lana Pendleton.

In addition to the Terrific Citizens, students are also recognized for their work and behavior in music, art, and physical education classes. For April, Specials teachers Amanda Norman and Kristin Malone recognized the following students in music: FRONT ROW: Keegan Rinehart, Stratton Warner, Stevie Oden; and BACK ROW: Ayden Stephens, Maverick Doe, and Storm Taylor.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Christopher Randazzo, Elijah Allinder, and Brody Myers; and BACK ROW: Easton Anderson, Raelyn Linder, Zaylei Hetrick, and Nathalia DeLaVega.

April’s PE awards winners were FRONT ROW: Alec Saunders, Emily Michaels, Cassidy Ervin, and Wyatt Butler; and BACK ROW: Ella Baldwin, Dallas Allee, Parker Sharp, and Ava Plante.
 
The Mathematician of the Month Award is sponsored by Community Bank of Harrisonville. The honorees for April were FRONT ROW: Avah McGuire, Finnegan Parkhurst, Jaxon Parkhurst, and Lily Osterloh; and BACK ROW: Sydney McKernan, Ezra Berg, Dominik Harleman, and Malachi Bickle.

Students honored for their work in art were FRONT ROW: Xander Dennis, Bowe Starforth, and Weston Blake; BACK ROW: Tanner McDuffy, Declan Stewart, Owen Smith; and NOT PICTURED Ava Oliver and Waylon Nutter.
