Classroom Partners

As part of the Bright Futures initiative, businesses, groups, organizations “adopt” a classroom to build relationships between community members and students to provide examples of positive role models outside the school setting.  The partners work with the classroom teacher to plan visits to fit each other's needs/wants. The visits can include crafts, service activities, games, curricular activities, etc. The visits happen once a month for about 60 minutes.  Contact Jill Filer, 380-2727, ext. 1224 or jill.filer@harrisonvilleschools.org.
