Students should be encouraged and challenged to think, discuss, and prove their thinking to ensure high levels of learning.

Students are involved in setting goals for their learning and behavior and are recognized for their successes. 

Teacher, parents, and community should share the responsibility to ensure students safety and success.

All students need to be supported to grow at their individual level and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.

Learning should be hands-on and allow students to construct their own knowledge in a safe and supportive environment.
