This year the district will once again partner with Catapult to offer Summer Journey. The program provides a combination of core academic courses and enriching Journey exploratory classes which include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) courses.
Students entering grades 9-12 will have the opportunity to enroll in Edgenuity (online) courses including Personal Finance and Health, and on-site classes including Lifetime Fitness and Driver’s Education. The HHS Student Services office will be sending out a Google form to all incoming 9-12 graders to sign up for classes or students can visit the HHS Student Service office. Incoming 9th graders taking summer classes will not be provided a school issued Chromebook. They must have access to another device if they plan to take the class this summer.
The Harrisonville Community Center will be offering after-school camps for ages 5-12 from bus drop off until 6:00 pm.
