Whether you're new to the district or moving into our community, we're here to make the enrollment process as smooth as possible.

Before You Begin

Please have the following documents available when enrolling your student:

• Birth certificate
• Current immunization records
• Proof of residency
• Request for records from your child's previous school (if applicable)
• Court orders or custody documents (if applicable)

Where to Enroll

Aug. 7 through Aug. 21 (before school starts)

Enroll your child at the school they will attend. 

Grade Level	School
Preschool (3- and 4-year-olds)	500 Eastwood Rd.
Kindergarten through 2nd Grade	Harrisonville Elementary, 101 N. Meghan Drive
3rd through 5th Grade	McEowen Intermediate, 1901 S. Halsey Ave.
6th through 8th Grade	Harrisonville Middle School, 601 S. Highland St.
9th through 12th Grade	Harrisonville High School, 1504 E. Elm St.

Aug. 24 through May 19

All new student enrollment takes place at the:

Harrisonville Schools Administrative Office
503 S. Lexington St.
Harrisonville, MO 64701

Residency Verification

Missouri law requires Harrisonville Schools to verify residency for all students. Residency verification is completed annually to ensure students who live within district boundaries receive the educational services provided by Harrisonville Schools.

One of the following documents is required:

• Current utility statement (gas, electric, or water only)
  • Must be in the parent/guardian's name
  • Must be dated within the last 30 days
  • Final or disconnect notices are not accepted
• Current lease or rental agreement
  • Must include the names of all occupants
  • Agreement dates
  • Landlord's name, address, phone number, and signature
• Home purchase or construction contract
  • Must show a closing or possession date within 90 calendar days of the student's first day of attendance

  • Temporary Residency Addendum
  • Temporary Residency Form

Students experiencing homelessness or those in foster care may qualify for additional enrollment assistance and educational services.
