HHS May Students of the Month

The Harrisonville High School Students of the Month for May are Jaeli Mitchell and Conner Graves. Mitchell and Graves were nominated by the high school staff for this award.

Mitchell is the daughter of Jeremy and Bonnie Mitchell. 

She is involved in DECA and Student Council. 

Mitchell has also served as Student Council Treasurer. 

She has earned the Excellence in Academics recognition all three years of high school and is on the Principal’s Honor Roll. She has placed first in Financial Services Team Decision Making for DECA competition.  

Outside of school, Mitchell works at Sonic as a carhop. 

She enjoys reading and being outside.

After high school, Mitchell plans to attend Metropolitan Community College. 

Graves is the son of Kevin and Christy Graves. 

He has been involved in boys’ soccer, National Honor Society, and boys’ tennis. 

Graves has also served as captain of the boys’ soccer team. 

Outside of school, he works at Sutherlands.

He enjoys sports and spending time with his friends. 

Graves plans to attend Metropolitan Community College to pursue a degree in Computer Science.

The HHS Students of the Month are selected on the basis of character, citizenship, and academics.
