HHS January Students of the Month

Jan. Students of the Month - paige cribbs and corbin ryberg

The Harrisonville High School Students of the Month for January are Paige Cribbs and Corbin Ryberg. Cribbs and Ryberg were nominated by high school staff for the honor.

Cribbs is the daughter of Bryan & Krista Cribbs.

She is involved in Music Makers, softball, track, and the A+ program.

Her leadership positions include serving as softball team captain. 

Cribbs’ awards and honors include earning varsity letters in softball for four years, being named all-conference and all-district twice, earning all-region honors once, and being selected as team MVP twice. In track, she has lettered for three years, earned all-conference and all-district recognition three times, was named all-sectional twice, qualified for state twice in the javelin, placed fifth at state her sophomore year, and earned all-American honors once. She has also lettered for two years in Music Makers and earned academic letters for three years.

Outside of school, Cribbs enjoys spending quality time with her family and the people closest to her.

After high school, Cribbs plans to attend State Fair Community College in Sedalia, where she will compete in javelin while working toward a degree in sports medicine. After completing two years at State Fair, she plans to transfer to a four-year university to continue her education.

Ryberg is the son of Patrick Ryberg and Shanda Lyon.

He is involved in boys’ soccer, National Technical Honor Society, Advanced Health Services program at Cass Career Center, and SkillsUSA. 

His leadership roles include serving as the Advanced Health Sciences representative for SkillsUSA. 

Ryberg’s awards and honors include lettering in soccer for two years, earning academic all-conference recognition, lettering in academics, and maintaining a 3.6 GPA.

Outside of school, Ryberg enjoys spending time with his family, hanging out with friends, taking his dog for car rides, and studying to further ready himself for a career in healthcare.

After high school, Ryberg plans to attend Metropolitan Community College for two years and then transfer to an undecided university to become a Nurse Practitioner.

HHS Students of the Month are selected based on character, citizenship, and academics.
