Below is a list of documents you will need in order to enroll your student.

• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Proof of Residency (utility statement, lease agreement)

Where to Enroll

August 7th - 21st, enroll your child at their building 

• Preschool (3 & 4 yrs) - 500 Eastwood Rd
• Harrisonville Elementary (K - 2nd grade) - 101 N Meghan Dr
• McEowen Intermediate (3rd - 5th grade) - 1901 S Halsey Ave
• Harrisonville Middle School (6th - 8th grade) - 601 S Highland Dr
• Harrisonville High School (9th-12th grade) - 1504 E Elm St

August 24 - May 19, enroll your child at the Harrisonville Schools Administrative Office at 503 S. Lexington St.

Residency Requirements

In an effort to ensure that students living in our district receive the education they deserve, the Harrisonville School District requires residency verification each year as part of the enrollment process. This annual requirement will help ensure that students who are not residents of the school district are not attending our schools therefore saving the district money.

Residency can be verified with one of the following:

• A current, original utility bill that is no more than 30 days old. The bill must be in the resident's name, and no final or disconnect notices will be accepted. UTILITY STATEMENTS INCLUDE GAS, ELECTRIC, AND WATER. NO OTHER STATEMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE UTILITY STATEMENT INCLUDES YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS.

• A rental/lease agreement including names of all occupants, dates of agreement and the name, address, phone number and signature of the landlord.

• A contract to build or purchase a home within the Harrisonville School District reflecting a possession or closing date within 90 calendar days of the first day of school attendance.

With your cooperation, the Residency Verification procedures will help school district officials investigate and properly address non-resident students.
