Spring 2023 Harrisonville Schools GEER II - Parent Reimbursement Form (CTE only)
The following information pertains to all Harrisonville School District students that are involved in CTE courses at the Cass Career Center. If this applies to you or your student, please continue reading. If you or your student attends a different home high school, please reach out to that school for specifics on their process for potential CTE reimbursement.
The Harrisonville School District has been given limited funds from the State of Missouri to reimburse individuals for expenses incurred as Career and Technical Education students of Cass Career Center. These funds became available in the wake of the COVID pandemic to help offset the cost of CTE.
Under this program, the district may reimburse parents, guardians, or students for the following costs associated with CTE:

Industry Recognized Credentials & Stackable Credentials

DESE-approved Technical Skills Attainments

Dual credit earned (successfully completed) from a CTE class

Equipment and clothing purchased by the parent/guardian or student required for the student’s CTE training. Examples include (but are not limited to):

Industry/school specific professional/technical dress (uniforms, career-specific clothing, official CTSO-required clothing)

Industry-specific tools (including those purchased using industry-sponsored discounts)

Industry-specific equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The district may reimburse any eligible cost incurred between March 13, 2020, and September 30, 2023.
The original itemized receipt must be provided to obtain a refund. Reimbursements will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis for all allowable items with itemized receipts.
Reimbursement considerations will happen in two periods of time. Submission window #1 ran from Monday, December 5, 2022, through Friday, December 16, 2022. Submission window #2 will run Tuesday, April 4, 2023, through Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Submissions will be accepted until funds are depleted, or the grant eligibility timeline expires. Checks will be mailed to the parents/guardians/student at the address provided in the form.
