    Three-Year-Old (by Aug. 1)
Three-year-old children are invited to attend monthly Preschool Preview Days at ECC.
These events provide students and parents (or other adult) with the chance to be in a classroom/school setting.  They participate in story time and centers in the preschool classrooms. Students can to get a feel for the classroom, and parents get ideas for helping their students prepare for school life in their homes.  The events are held during morning and afternoon sessions and an adult must accompany the child.

In addition, three-year-olds will be encouraged to participate in the Parents as Teachers weekly playgroup and monthly evening activities.

Monthly Preschool Preview dates will be offered for students who are 3 years old before August 1, 2019 next year.  On these dates, the 3 year old student will be accompanied by an adult to attend 1 of 2 sessions of preschool. Siblings are not invited to attend these specials days.  Preschool Preview days will be a different format than our weekly play groups. Parents will sit with students during large group story and calendar time and will then work with them at several preschool centers.  This is a great opportunity for students to learn about school expectations and for parents to get ideas for activities to try at home.

Due to the number of families that we serve in the district, we will ask that students with last names that begin with  A-L will attend from 9:15-11:15 a.m. and students with last names that begin with M-Z attend from 12:30-2:30 p.m. You will enter through the south doors closest to the main office and make sure to bring a photo identification with you.

Preschool Preview days will take place on the following dates during the 2019-2020 school year:

    Friday, September 27th

    Friday, October 25th

    Friday, November 22nd

    Friday, January 31st

    Friday, February 28th

    Friday, March 27th

    Friday, April 24th

We are also offering preschool screenings this spring by our Parents as Teachers educators.  They will call you for an appointment if you are not already involved in the program.
