District Grants
District grants fund initiatives that go beyond the classroom. The funds may be used to support grade-level, school-level or district-level programs. Building principals or district administrators may submit a District Grant application.
District grants are competitive. Funds are awarded according to fund availability and strength of the submitted applications.
The Foundation prefers to fund equipment/resources that can be used year after year instead of disposable or one-time uses.
When choosing grant requests to fund, the Foundation will give preference to district grant requests that seek funding for novel and creative programs, approaches or initiatives; align with the Foundation's priorities to support academic achievement; enable the Foundation to cooperatively fund district priorities; and hold opportunity for long-term sustainability.
