Harrisonville Public School Foundation
Welcome
The Harrisonville Public School Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support and enhance all educational programs and activities of the Harrisonville Cass R-IX School District by providing a tax-exempt organization which serves as recipient and protector of all donations.
Support the 2026 Excellence in Academics Ceremony
For more than 30 years, the Harrisonville Public School Foundation has celebrated academic achievement through its annual Excellence in Academics program, recognizing Harrisonville High School students who finish the year in the top 15 percent of their class.
The Foundation invites community members and local businesses to support the program by becoming an Excellence in Academics subscriber. Contributions help fund student recognition medallions and scholarships for Harrisonville High School students.
The 2026 Senior Excellence in Academics Ceremony will be held Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m. in the Harrisonville High School Performing Arts Center.
Students recognized through the Excellence in Academics program receive a commemorative medallion. Seniors who have earned the honor all four years receive a $500 scholarship from the Foundation.
Four-year recipients also have the opportunity to recognize an influential teacher who made a difference in their academic journey. In addition, each four-year honoree selects a school program to receive a $250 mini grant through the Bill Mills Leaving a Legacy program.
Students in grades 9–11 who earn Excellence in Academics recognition during the current school year will be honored later this fall.
Community members may support the program at the following levels:
- $100 Subscriber
- $500 Scholarship Subscriber
- $1,000 Corporate Subscriber
All subscribers will be recognized in the event program and in the local newspaper.
To become a subscriber, complete the form below and or mail a check to the Harrisonville Public School Foundation, 503 S. Lexington, Harrisonville, MO 64701 by April 24.

Harrisonville Public School Foundation Launches Sustaining Donors Campaign to Grow Endowment
The Harrisonville Public School Foundation has launched its Sustaining Donors Campaign, an effort aimed at strengthening the Foundation’s general endowment and securing long-term support for Harrisonville students and staff.
The Foundation is seeking 75 new Sustaining Donors, each contributing $1,000 to help increase the endowment from its current $525,000 to a campaign goal of $600,000. Because only the interest from the endowment is used, this fund ensures Foundation programs continue for generations to come.
For 35 years, the Foundation has provided essential support through programs such as District Grants—which fund innovative projects across all schools—and Excellence in Academics, which recognizes top student scholars and awards annual scholarships.
Gifts may be made as a single contribution or through installment plans over one or two years. Donors are also permanently recognized on the Tree of Knowledge in the Harrisonville High School Performing Arts Center, a lasting tribute to their commitment to future Wildcats.
Those interested in joining the campaign can give online below or via mail to HPSF, 503 S. Lexington, Harrisonville, MO 64701.
