The Harrisonville Public School Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support and enhance all educational programs and activities of the Harrisonville Cass R-IX School District by providing a tax-exempt organization which serves as recipient and protector of all donations.

Harrisonville Public School Foundation launches Sustaining Donors Campaign to grow endowment
The Harrisonville Public School Foundation has launched its Sustaining Donors Campaign, an effort aimed at strengthening the Foundation’s general endowment and securing long-term support for Harrisonville students and staff. The Foundation is seeking 75 new Sustaining Donors, each contributing $1,000 to help increase the endowment from its current $525,000 to a campaign goal of $600,000. Because only the interest from the endowment is used, this fund ensures Foundation programs continue for generations to come.

The Foundation will celebrate the 20th year of our Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament as golfers hit the Hoots Hollow Golf Course on Friday, September 18. Sponsorships & registrations are now open.

Nominate an alum for the HHS Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame
This award honors and recognizes alumni who exemplify the values, the tradition, and the successes of HHS. Their accomplishments will inspire and encourage HHS students to do the same. Nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis and the annual deadline for consideration is October 31. Inductions are held in conjunction with HHS Courtwarming festivities.

• To be fiscally sound and financially responsible for all assets.
• To engage, educate, and energize our community & alumni through publicizing and promoting the Foundation and its activities.

Giving

There are numerous ways you can contribute to the Foundation and support the students and staff in Harrisonville Schools.

• One time, monthly or annual giving
• Special purpose gifts - in memory of a loved one, in honor of a living person, or commemorate a special occasion
• Endowments to support grants, scholarships
• Defined giving - bequests, will, trust, or life insurance
• Outright donation - real estate or securities
