Our District
District Accreditation
The district is fully accredited by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education through the Missouri School Improvement Program. Harrisonville High School is an A+ School and is accredited by the North Central Association.
District Finance
District CSIP (Comprehensive School Improvement Plan)
The district is currently in the process of updating its CSIP. The plan will be approved in the fall of 2024.
Our Schools
The Harrisonville School District is composed of approximately 2,100 students who attend school in the district, grades K-12. The district employs approximately 300 people, with around 190 of those as classroom teachers. Our teachers have an average of 14.7 years’ experience and over 63% have their master’s degree or higher. The ratio of students to classroom teachers is 17:1.
Our Community
The Harrisonville School District is located south of Kansas City in Harrisonville, Missouri. Harrisonville is the seat of government for Cass County and has a population of approximately 10,000. The largest employers in the community are Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Church & Dwight, Harrisonville Schools, Cass Regional Medical Center, and Cass County Government.
District Report Card
State law (Section 160.522) requires the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to publish an annual "report card" about each school district, each school building and each charter school. The reports provided below include all of the data required by state law, plus information required by federal law (No Child Left Behind).
