PROGRAM HOURS & DESCRIPTION
The Practical Nursing program starts annually on the first Monday in August and ends the third Friday in June.
Class hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm with an hour for lunch. Monday through Friday.
This program is an INTENSE, Monday through Friday curriculum that provides credentials for a student to graduate and sit for the NCLEX-PN exam. There are no prerequisites; however, if a student plans to work (even though it is not recommended) during program, they would benefit from taking Human Nutrition, Growth & Development, and Anatomy & Physiology prior to start of program.
Students must have access to a computer, printer and internet from the start of the program to completion. This access must be considered when calculating the cost of the program. A printer is not readily available at the school for students' use.
