Excellence in Academics
The Excellence in Academics program annually recognizes students who complete the school year in the top 15% of their class at Harrisonville High School.
Seniors completing the year in the top 15% of the class are recognized at the Senior Excellence in Academics Ceremony on their final day of class at Harrisonville High School. The all-school assembly begins at 8 a.m.
Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who complete the year in the top 15% of their class are honored at an assembly during the first week of school in August.
Encouraging Excellence in Academics
Seniors who earn the Excellence in Academics recognition all four years at Harrisonville High School receive a $500 scholarship from the Foundation. Recipients can choose to donate all or a portion of their scholarship back to a program in the district that impacted their school experience.
