PROFESSIONAL LEARNING WITHOUT LIMITS!GOAL:
To provide a comprehensive, sustained, and intensive approach to improving teacher and administrator effectiveness in raising student achievement.
Membership of the District PDC will include the Assistant Superintendent of Academic & Student Services, District Curriculum & Instruction Specialist, one certified staff member from each of the six district buildings, and six Executive Council members. Executive Council members should have one year of experience on PDC and will be self-nominated and voted on in May (spring retreat) of each year. The PDC Chairperson will serve a two-year term.
Members (certified staff) are self-nominated by application (statement of interest) and elected by the certified staff from each building to serve as members of the committee.
Members must have three years teaching experience, and two years in the district.
