Once students leave school, whether by graduating or by withdrawal/dismissal, they should:

• Complete Exit Counseling
  Select Undergraduate Student and login with your FSA ID
• Review the Loan Repayment Checklist

Please review the following information when your loans go into repayment:

• When a student must begin making payments
• What repayment plans are available
• The grace period
• Use the Repayment Estimator to project what your payments would be under various plans 
• Lower your interest rate by making electronic payments
• If you're struggling financially, avoid going into default by checking to see if you're eligible for a deferment or forbearance 

Review the multiple loan forgiveness programs that are available for students that meet certain criteria: 

• Student Loan Debt Relief
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness
• Total and Permanent Disability Discharge
• Health Professional Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness
