Sparks Fly in the Welding at CCC

CCC welding program students are gaining hands-on experience as they work on fabrication projects, learning precision, technique, and the skills needed in the workforce. In this project, a student is preparing material for welding a bevel plate—an important step in creating strong, high-quality welds.

From blueprint to bridge

Students in Applied Math at Harrisonville High School applied their geometry skills by designing and building popsicle stick bridges. After creating scaled blueprints, students brought their designs to life and made adjustments throughout the process. Each bridge was then tested to see how much weight it could hold.

Harrisonville Middle School students recently took the stage to present James and the Giant Peach. From colorful characters to confident performances, students brought the story to life and showcased their hard work and creativity.

Building Strong Vocabulary Skills

Third-graders are building vocabulary skills through morphology, breaking words into prefixes, suffixes, and other meaningful parts to better understand word structure and apply their learning to new words.

Signature Series

Students in Mrs. Dearing’s eighth-grade Career Exploration class at Harrisonville Middle School participated in the “Signature Series,” a program presented by Neisha Handley and the Cass County Public Library. The session, developed with a graphologist and forensic handwriting expert, gave students insight into handwriting analysis and career connections.
