The main goal of French I is to instill in the students an appreciation of French language and culture. We will be working on the basics: numbers, colors, the alphabet, etc., as well as some building blocks: conjugating regular and irregular verbs, sentence structure, and other grammar, through songs, games, skits, and other student-centered methods.

We will be using Holt's Bien Dit Level 1 text.
