When a student is absent from school, the parent/guardian must call the office and report the reason for the absence. If the parent does not call, the parent must provide a note explaining the reason for the absence. Students shall present that note to the office upon return to school.
A letter will be mailed to the parent/guardian after five (5) days of absence during any one (1) quarter.
If any student misses more than six (6) days per quarter, a conference may be held with the parent/guardian, teacher and principal to determine the status of the student's progress.
