The pages for each course include their respective textbooks' websites, but the following are great for students who are interested in improving their knowledge of French and Francophone language and culture beyond just the required coursework. We may use these websites in class from time to time, and students might also have the chance to do occasional extra credit with them:

Wordreference.com

Many world languages teachers agree that this is the most comprehensive online dictionary available.  It includes all possible definitions of words as well as compound constructions, idiomatic expressions, and related words.

Tex's French Grammar

This is an easy-to-navigate, comprehensive site for all things French grammar. It has clear explanations of and activities for a variety of grammatical concepts.

French practice and fun activities

This is the "Resources" page from a fellow French teacher in Texas.  She has included links to some great activities for all levels.

BBC Languages- French

This website includes instructional dialogues depicting everyday situations in French, among other useful tools.

Un Jour Une Actu

The AP French Language and Culture class will be using this site regularly to keep up with contemporary issues in the Francophone world.  Any student is welcome to look around on this site, which is geared toward French adolescents, to practice their reading comprehension while also following current events.
