Harrisonville Early Childhood Center is home to the district's pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs. Kindergarten is an all-day program for children who are five years old by August 1. There are nine kindergarten classes in the district.

Children who are three or four by August 1 may enroll in the Preschool program which runs two half days per week. There are separate programs for three- and four-year-olds.

The district's early childhood special education program and Parents As Teachers Program are also based at this school.
